YJCCI Delegation Strengthens Global Trade Relations at Canton Fair

Yamunanagar Jagadhri Chamber of Commerce and Industry (YJCCI) successfully participated in the globally renowned Canton Fair from April 17–21, with a 26-member delegation representing the region’s industrial and business community. The visit marked another important step towards strengthening international trade relations and creating new global business opportunities for members.

The delegation was led by Secretary General Samira Saluja. During the visit, a special business meeting was organized aboard a cruise ship with representatives of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronics (CCCME), where discussions focused on enhancing trade cooperation and future collaboration opportunities.

As a gesture of mutual respect and partnership, CCCME presented a commemorative memento on behalf of Zhuhai City, while YJCCI also exchanged mementos with the organization to strengthen institutional ties.

One of the key highlights of the visit was a large networking session attended by more than 150 CCCME members, along with business delegations from Brazil, Peru, and Bangladesh. The interaction provided a valuable platform for discussions on international trade opportunities, sourcing partnerships, and cross-border collaboration.

The delegation also participated in dedicated one-on-one matchmaking sessions, enabling YJCCI members to directly connect with global manufacturers, exporters, and business partners.

The successful visit reflects YJCCI’s continued commitment to expanding its global outreach and creating meaningful international opportunities for its members. The delegation returned to India with stronger business networks, valuable industry insights, and promising trade prospects for the future.
