YJCCI Hosts Insightful Session on “Doing Business in Africa
Yamunanagar-Jagadhri Chamber of Commerce & Industry (YJCCI) successfully organized an informative and engaging session on “Doing Business in Africa”, aimed at creating awareness among entrepreneurs, exporters, and MSMEs about the growing business opportunities across African nations.
The keynote presentation was delivered by Mr. Faizur Rehman, an expert consultant in International Trade, Power, and Renewable Energy. During the session, he provided deep insights into the export potential for Indian industries in Africa, particularly highlighting the opportunities in Tanzania. He explained the process of establishing businesses in African countries, discussed market trends, investment possibilities, and shared practical guidance for Indian entrepreneurs looking to expand globally.
The event was graced by Shrimati Amneet P. Kumar Ji, IAS, Principal Secretary, Government of Haryana, as the Chief Guest. In her address, she emphasized the critical role of exports in strengthening India’s economy and accelerating industrial and MSME growth. She encouraged industrialists to explore international markets and assured complete support from the government in promoting exports and industrial development. Her approachable and encouraging interaction with the industry members was highly appreciated, as she warmly invited entrepreneurs to meet her in Chandigarh regarding industrial concerns, export-related plans, and international business delegations.
Shri Pawan Kumar Chaudhary Ji, Advisor to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana for the Foreign Cooperation Department, also addressed the gathering and shared motivating thoughts on the importance of hard work, dedication, and long-term vision in international trade. He elaborated on the strengthening trade relations between India and African countries and encouraged businesses to take advantage of emerging opportunities in the African market.
The session also witnessed the presence of Shri V.P. Singh Ahluwalia Ji, Joint Director, District MSME Centre, who contributed valuable insights regarding MSME development and export-oriented industrial growth.
